The Best Prettyscale Alternative

Prettyscale rates your face with rigid, decade-old geometry: a single number and no explanation. Here's the modern, AI version. A free face rating that reads your whole face and tells you what to do about it.

Moggtar sizing up Prettyscale

Why Prettyscale falls short

It's rigid geometry, not a real analysis

Prettyscale has you drop markers on your eyes, nose, lips and chin, then measures the distances between them and compares your facial thirds and symmetry against fixed 'golden ratio' ideals. That's the entire engine: 2D proportions from a single photo. It never actually looks at your skin, your eye area, or how your features work together as a whole.

It's provably inaccurate on real faces

Because it only measures geometry, it whiffs constantly. Angelina Jolie, voted the most beautiful woman in the world, scores around 70% on it. Sydney Sweeney, named the prettiest woman alive in 2023, lands in the median at roughly 67%. If it can't read faces like those, it can't read yours either.

It explains nothing, and helps even less

You get one opaque percentage with no breakdown of what's strong, what's weak, or what to do about it. And because the score swings wildly with lighting, angle and photo quality, it mostly just makes people (often teenagers) feel bad, judged against narrow Western proportions with zero path forward.

The AI Attractiveness Test by Mogged

Everything Prettyscale should have become. Upload a selfie and AI reads your whole face (symmetry, jawline, eyes, skin, and harmony), then gives you a 0-100 score with a breakdown for each feature, a percentile, and your potential. It's more accurate, more forgiving on photo quality, and unlike Prettyscale, it actually shows you what to improve. Free, in your browser, no signup.

Prettyscale Alternative FAQ

What is the best alternative to Prettyscale?

Mogged's free AI Attractiveness Test is the best modern alternative. Instead of Prettyscale's rigid geometry, it uses AI to read your whole face (symmetry, jawline, eyes, skin, and harmony), gives you a 0-100 score with a breakdown for each, and shows you what to actually work on. It runs free in your browser.

Is Prettyscale accurate?

Not really. It measures fixed facial ratios from a single 2D photo, so it ignores most of what makes a face attractive (skin, eye area, overall harmony) and swings wildly with lighting and angle. It's telling that widely-agreed-attractive faces (Angelina Jolie, Sydney Sweeney) only score in the high 60s to around 70% on it. Treat it as entertainment, not an accurate rating.

Is there a free AI version of Prettyscale?

Yes, the AI Attractiveness Test is free and needs no signup. It's the AI-powered upgrade to what Prettyscale did with basic geometry: upload a photo, get a rating plus a real breakdown of your features.

Why is my Prettyscale score so low?

Usually it's the photo, not your face. Prettyscale is extremely sensitive to angle, tilt, and lighting because it's measuring pixel distances. An AI tool is far more forgiving and gives a more consistent read. Try one with a clean, front-facing, evenly-lit photo.
